I am attorney Judith A. Wayne, and I have been helping clients with their complex legal needs for more than 30 years. From my law offices in Lynn and Malden, I aggressively represent clients throughout the Boston North Shore and Boston metro area in a variety of areas, including:
- Criminal defense: Whether they are facing felony or misdemeanor charges, I always make sure that my clients' constitutional rights are fully protected. From drunk driving (DUI) and drug possession, to domestic violence and sex crimes, I understand how local police and prosecutors handle criminal cases.
- Family law: I have extensive experience helping families resolve their difficult divorce-related issues, including child custody, visitation, child support, property division / high net-worth asset division and alimony.

Significant Legal Experience
I graduated from law school in 1976 and spent several years at the Middlesex County District Attorneys’ office during a time when there were few female district attorneys. During my tenure as an assistant district attorney, I tried hundreds of cases, gaining invaluable courtroom experience and trial preparation skills.
I opened my own law practice in 1981, when women attorneys were still thought of as “girls” and were not typically known as aggressive defense attorneys. I was considered an oddity when I walked into the courtroom and started cross-examining police officers. That attitude changed when I started winning cases. Today, police officers are one of my largest sources of referrals.
Representing a Cross-Section of Boston Clients
Over the years, I have represented a wide cross-section of clients, including high-profile members of the Boston Bruins and New York Yankees sports teams. More typically, though, I work with average people, including the less privileged and disenfranchised. I have also represented many non-English speaking immigrants due to my fluency in French and ability to converse in Spanish.
